Hair
as your decoration.
Hair main role is decorative. For many people nice looking hair is so
important that the slightest change in their volume, color, structure
or arrangement is a reason to see the doctor. Hair illnesses are in most
of the limes connected with skin and nails illnesses.
We have about 100 000 of hair follicles on our heads. Every follicle
can grow about 20-30 hairs during a lifetime. On an infant skin hair are
thicker than on a grown up head.
Primarily hair ovules appear in the 9th week of a foetus life. First,
fully grow hair are grown between 5 and 6 month of foetus life (lanugo).
The foetus looses them during 7 to 8 month. They are being replaced with
terminal hair. After the birth, new hair ovules are being grown.
Fully grow hair consist of three things: a hair root which Is in the
skin, a haft which is also called a hair stalk and a hair end, which has
a sharp ending and it can occur when the hair are not cut. The hair root
is placed in hair ovule, from where the sebaceous leaves. The root in
its lower part is getting wider creating a bulb, which contains the hair
papilla. If the hair papilla is destroyed, the permanent loss of hair
occurs. The hair grows from the skin under a certain angle. On the obtuse
angle side the hair side muscle. On the cross section on the skin the
hair has a laser structure. There are four basic layers; each layer is
built from few other layers. Looking from the inside we can see the exact
hair, the inside sheath of the hair and the hair follicle. The exact hair,
growing from the skin, is built from the cord layer, which is not present
in some of hair follicle, a core and hair shield. The shield is build
from scales, which overlay on each other in a tile way, what looks like
a pinecone.
The main chemical substance of the hair is keratin. In opposite to the
keratin in Horny layer of the skin, the hair keratin consists of 20% of
cisterns, an amino acid very rich in sulfur. The keratin particles have
many bonds, thanks to which, hair have a steady structure, as well mechanic
as chemical. We can divide hair in three kinds: Primary (lanugo), boomy
and terminal. The last ones are long hair (hairy skin on the head), Bristle
hair (eyebrows and lashes), the hair of the armpit and gender area. Hairs
react differently to androgenic hormones. Due to that they are being divided
to three groups. First of them are hair depended on the gender, those
responding to androgens, but only in concentrations which occur only in
men's body. Those are beard hair and between gender triangle and umbilicus,
as well as in outsider ear. The other group is so called ambisexual hair.
They are also dependant on androgens, but in concentrations typical for
men and women. They include the gender area and armpit hair. The third
group is hair independent from the gender, which do not react to androgens.
Those are eyebrows, eyelashes. The most important androgen is testosterone.
In the place of its activity, which is the matrix of the hair, under the
influence of 5 alpha reductase enzymes, it is being converted to dihyderotestosteron.
Human hair has its own growing cycle, independent from other neighboring
hair. This cycle is divided to three phases: antigenic phase, the growth
phase, katagenic phase, which is the transitory phase and telogenic phase,
which is the resting phase. Normally on a hairy head there an 85% of androgenic
hair, less the 1 % of katagenic and 15 % of telogenic hair. The androgenic
phase can last for example on the head for 2 to 6 years. The katagenic
phase lasts only for few days. During this phase the hair stops to grow.
The telogenic phase, at the end of which the hair starts to fall out,
lasts approximately about 3 - 4 months.
Even though the structure is so permanent and complicated, the mechanical
destruction can occur. It can be caused by over vigorous brushing or combing.
In this case the shield of the hair is being destroyed, and even the deeper
parts of the hair. Especially curly hair are exposed to that. Excessive
washing can causes dryness and frailness, although when using modern and
good shampoos it is not a common occurrence. Perm liquids can disturb
the hair structure. Some hair colorants can change the color of the hair
in a more permanent way and damage them. Some perpetrates for hair brightening,
peroxidating the melanin in the hair, weaken them.

Aztec Gold series contain the shampoo and the moisturizer. The shampoo
containing washing vegetable substances, coming from coconut palm and
corn, has great washing properties. It also does not dry the skin on the
head and the hair, giving them the gloss and it optically increases the
volume. As well as in the shampoo the moisturizer contains Aztec herb
extractions. This herb contain vegetable fitohormones, so called fitoestrogenes,
as well as microelements (aluminum, cobalt, iron, magnesium, zinc, silicon,
selenium)and macro elements (calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus),
saponines, a lot ofprovitamines, vitamins (beta carotene, niacin, thiamine,
vitamin B2 and C), proteins and carbohydrates. This causes the nutrition
of the hair from its basis, influencing the hair bulb itself. Because
of that the moisturizer is recommended for dry and damaged hair, e.g.
with coloring. It makes the hair bulbs stronger, improves the structure
and the look of the hair. The moisturizer also helps with hair styling,
because special starch extract is added. What should be underlined is
that the cosmetics have very serious nutrition properties and should be
used.
